Continental to offer inflight wireless internet
Continental Airlines is joining a number of U.S. carriers to offer Inflight wireless internet, beginning in the second quarter of 2010.The airline will offer the Gogo Inflight wireless internet service on its fleet of 21 Boeing 757-300 aircraft, which primarily serve domestic routes.
Passengers will be able to use laptops and Wi-Fi enabled devices when the aircraft reaches 10,000 feet. The service will be available to customers starting at $4.95 and will be based on the length of flight.

New AirTran flights from Orlando to Des Moines
AirTran Airways has announced its latest expansion to Iowa by unveiling non-stop flights from Orlando (MCO) to Des Moines International Airport (DSM)The central Iowa city is becoming the 43rd destination served by the low-cost airline from its hub at Orlando International Airport.
The new service will begin next March, with AirTran’s Wi-Fi equipped Boeing 717s. AirTran will be the only carrier offering non-stop flights between the two airports.
AirTran operates over 750 daily departures, primarily in the Eastern and Midwestern United States.
