New AirTran flights from Orlando to Des Moines

AirTran Airways has announced its latest expansion to Iowa by unveiling non-stop flights from Orlando (MCO) to Des Moines International Airport (DSM)

The central Iowa city is becoming the 43rd destination served by the low-cost airline from its hub at Orlando International Airport.

The new service will begin next March, with AirTran’s Wi-Fi equipped Boeing 717s. AirTran will be the only carrier offering non-stop flights between the two airports.

AirTran operates over 750 daily departures, primarily in the Eastern and Midwestern United States.
