American Airlines will launch its inaugural direct flight from Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport to Madrid, Spain.On Friday, the carrier’s first flight to Madrid will transport Texas First Lady Anita Perry and a Texas trade delegation to Madrid on a flight that leaves at 5:35 p.m. Friday and arrives in Madrid about 10 hours and 35 minutes later. The first flight from Madrid to DFW will occur on Saturday.
American said it will operate the route with its 225-seat Boeing 767-300 aircraft. The airline is offering one daily nonstop flight to Madrid.
